M18SN6L设计中需要注意的事项：进气管路上安装带压力指示的减压阀和小球阀，便于观查和调节隔膜泵的流量和压力；开始脱水时，空气压力宜控制在2-3bar，当出水流量明显减少后，再提高空气压力，会获得好的脱水效果；污泥的调质效果的好坏，起着决定性的作用；第采用隔膜泵的缺点：压力无法提高，被气源压力限制，6bar就到了上限；噪音和管路振动，在大气量时，特别明显；相对于螺杆泵，膜片寿命较短，容易损坏；因隔膜泵流量通常不会太大，多数应用在小系统中；第采用隔膜泵的优点：投资低，螺杆泵就需要可以调节流量装置，变频或者压力调解阀，还需要配套的压力传感器；工作可靠，简单，可以随着过滤阻力的增加自动平衡流量；占地面积小，安装容易。
