HE-3-1/8-QS-6RO反渗透滤膜可过滤盐，势必导致浓水和产水含盐量浓度差异巨大，这样浓水中的水要进入产水中克服渗透压，因此错流过滤的过滤压力一般较大，而且相同给水水质条件下，工作压力越高的反渗透膜一般脱盐率越高，水质越好。从错流过滤原理图可知，原水中的截留物质（如反渗透滤膜中的盐）在滤膜表面被截留，因此滤膜表面截留物浓度高，离膜表面距离越远，相对截留物浓度低一些，从而形成浓差极化，导致实际的产水通量和脱盐率低于理论估算值。
